How Do I Get Involved?
Greater Houston Burmese Christian Fellowship Church is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at GHBCF Church.
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, GHBCF Church has small cell groups held in member homes based on ethnicity and age groups. The size of the group is varied. At a time, designated by your group, you can participate in the small group fellowship.
Sunday School Children Ministry
Each Sunday between 3 and 4pm children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction.
GHBCF Youth group meets every Saturday afternoon (4-6pm) at our branch office in Sunblossom Mountain Apartment: 5909 Ranchester Drive, # 327, Houston, TX 77036 for fellowship and youth activities. Our youth group is actively participating in all activities of the church such as praise & worship, choir, Sunday Bible Study, evangelism, fundraising events, and Sunday School Children Ministry.
Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions, bigger stakes, serious relationships, and a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group of Greater Houston Burmese Christian Fellowship provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people. Young Adults ministry focuses on in-dept Bible study and evanglism.
The Women Fellowship of Greater Houston Burmese Christian Fellowship gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction and spiritual naurishment. Our women Fellowship meets once a month at member homes or church office on Saturday afternoon. They have time for educational program as well as Bible study and prayer (and, of course, food). Our women group is taking care of refreshments and child care for the church.
Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. Their primary focus is to organize and develop a spiritually strong and mature men group from GHBCF in order to explore a dynamic leadership and responsibility in the church. Men Fellowship meets every second Sunday at the church and every forth Saturday at home by rotation.
